Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential repair and remodeling projects.
Review project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information.
Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to produce accurate bids.
Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in estimates.
Utilize estimating software to streamline the bidding process and enhance accuracy.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an estimator in the construction or home improvement industry.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
